I served three years in the Army and then another 20 years as a military wife. We have now retired to an Atlanta's suburb. One daughter graduated West Point, another graduated Indiana U and baby boy is enrolled in Aurburn U. The hubby now lives and work in Alabama so I'm the ultimate "Empty Nester" and loving it. I just returned from spending the past 3 months caring for the first grandson (you can see pictures at http://www.myspace.com/cajunqueen6_ ), it was fun to be there but it was better once I found a daycare and returned home to a nice, quiet, empty household. I also have just started a brand new telecommunication company that will secure my future and is willable to my decendants when I'm gone. It not a pyramid scheme by any means but I get a small percentage from every customer when they pay their cell phone bill, tv service, home security and more.
