About Me
I am 65, a wife, mom, and grandma. I lost 50 lbs with Weight Watchers but hit a plateau. I have done every diet there is. I am a breast cancer survivior. I love Zumba, riding my bike and walking with my husband. I love the sun and being outside gardening. I have now reached my goal. I am soooooo happy. I had breast reconstruction done and now I feel the best I have ever felt in my life. Thank you Dr. Mike. I have turned at least 30 people on to this life style change. I will do it for the rest of my life.

Buffy, just got too busy! Congrats and I see you are doing terrific! I am down with 2 lbs to go. I keep switching to cycle 1. I guess I will stick with Cycle 2 - that seems to suit me. I will do maintenance ont he 3 & 4.
Off to my WW meeting! I ate breakfast, had too, I was starving. I have not done this before! The way it is!
Hey Buffy, sorry about AWOL! I am so happy to hear that you reached a milestone! Good for you my friend. I do a WI in the morning and I hope to show 114, but I am afraid it might be 115 - not for any reason good or bad, I just bounce around a lot. But it will resolve itself one of these days! Thanks for staying in touch with me! Cycle 2 is ok - but I started it later - I went back to Cycle 1 for a few days.
Hi Buffy, just got back from a long weekend trip. Thanks for the notes on the pancakes and the rice at Costco. Your tips are a great help! On to Cycle 2!
Buffy today is D16 and one more day I can have my 1/2 c cooked oatmeal. Funny, the little things we miss! I feel terrific. I agree this has been a good experience for me. Thanks for the note!
Buffy that comment about the chicken vegetable soup with the Costco canned chicken was a great solution and it is really good in this soup recipe. Everybody in my family loves it!
Buffy, I am in awe of what you have accomplished. My son has a lot of weight to drop and he joined the 17DD and he is loving it too! I am hoping my Dr will finally allow me off of my pressure pills! No cholesterol - those are bye! I guess the synthroid I am stuck with for life - but I don't know too much about that issue.
Buffy thank you for the friendship offer. It took me a while to find it (duh), I am now getting the hang of this board - these are so different from the WW site. But I have figured out a method to the madness!
Just waving to you! Have a great day!
I know what you mean about the salt when you go out to eat! Today I am enjoying the homemade vegetable posted in the 17 day diet. I am really loving this soup. I actually like it better than the WW soup. I too WI this Friday at WW. Even though I am LT and I only WI once a month, I am changing my goal; so I will WI this Friday and maybe every week unless they give me grief because I am no almost 5 lbs under my original goal! Oh well!
