Well first off my name is Brittany Avant. I am 14 years of age In August I will be a freshman at Harmony High School.  My life is already dedicated to helping others. I volunteer with SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS they are so amazing to hang out with. Also I volunteer at the local Hospital. After High School I want to go into something in the medical field. I want to either Paramedic or A ER Physician. I take care of a lot of my family members when they get sick. My parents say I have a lot of medical knowledge.

  I have had a rough time the past year. My 8 year old cousin Dylan Kinsey was diagnosed with ALL (Acute lymphocytic leukemia).ALL is a fast-growing cancer in which the body produces a large number of immature white blood cells (lymphocytes). These cells can be found in the blood, bone marrow, lymph nodes, spleen, and other organs. He is my hearo he has changed my life and I am going to be there for him every step of the way even though he is 2 1/2 hours away. ***Just to let you he is in my photo ***
