Hi,
Recently my mom SleepTech wrote a blog to you all for help with my visit, this is the blog she had written:
Hey all,
Some of you may know I have a 17 year old daughter named Brittany, she lived with me until she was 12 and then my ex-husband got custody of her. It's a very painful subject for me, so some of you may not be aware of it. Anyway I don't get to talk to her often, and that is painful also. I talked with her yesterday and found out she does want to see me this summer, YAY!!!! She flys in next Sunday the 28th of June and will stay until July 28th. I'm nervous about it though, what if I get sick and she has a lousy time, what if things don't go well, etc. I told her we could go see the horses, and she liked that idea, but I think I need more ideas for fun. Does anyone have any ideas for something fun I could do with my 17 year old daughter to be sure she has a good time? This is very important to me so any help or suggestions you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Michele
My mom has told me alot about alot of you, and showed me many of the things she has writen. This blog probably made me laugh the most! I wanted to personaly thank all of you for giving my mom the ideas. I found quite funny she even asked for help because in the past I have always had a good time when I come to visit, and she's never had a problem finding something for us to do. I don't enjoy planning every minute of a vacation, and my mom has never been like that either which is why I usually have such a good time. We find things to do as we go.
We are not these people:
Daughter: Thanks mom the mall was fun. *Sits down on the couch exhausted*
Mom: OH MY GOD!!! Are you sitting?! Oh no! We have free time!!!!! We can't have free time!!! How did we end up with five minutes of free time! we have to DO something!!!! *pacing nervously*
Duaghter: We do? *desperate* we could just, ya know, watch Doctors on TV or something..
I think the best advice anyone gave her was probably the advice to hmmmm, i don't know, spend time together? lol So, again, thank you. I have been having a great time with my Mom.
Thanks,
Bree
