I'm looking for help for my sister
Can't get DIAGNOSIS CORRECTLY in FLORIDA *** HELP MY SISTER PLEASE***
I am writing you on behalf of my sister Jennifer from Florida she will be 39 on July 15th, 2009. She has been in and out hospitals and seeing many different Doctors for 2 plus years now and NO ONE can tell her or treat her correctly for what is wrong. She was an employee of the United States Postal Service for many many years and a few months ago lost her job and insurance coverage. The many Doctors she has seen has given her many many diagnosis over the years from... dermatitis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, raynaud's, she had blood work done last week and now her White Blood Cell Count is very high (that is why they put her on the dexamethasone) I know there are a couple more that I can not think of right now. She has been on and off prednisone and is now on dexamethasone to help her with the swallowing and pain in her hands / joints. And several other powerful medications. When she gets up in the morning she is like a feeble old person. She needs help out of the bed, someone has to help her to the bath room, sometimes even to help her eat...etc. But the crazy thing is by 3:00 - 4:00 in the afternoon she is a WHOLE different person still with pain but she functions SOOO much better. My sister has a loving husband, a 9 year old daughter, 2 step children and a whole lot of people that love her very much. We all hate to see her in so much pain and discomfort. Right now as I'm writing this to you my sister is sitting in the hospital in Jupiter, Florida having more test done to try and figure out why her leg is going numb and is starting to drag when she walks. I know this is probably a shot in the dark but we don't know where else to turn. Any help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED! I should of added this at the top. Our father passed away in 1988. He constantly was in pain similar pain to my sister but our father was never diagnosised I really don't know the reason why. He had surgery to fuss his knee joint in one of his legs to help with the pain in his knee. He had polio when he was a child. I remember my father wanting us to rub his legs with BEN GAY all the time because he was always in so much pain. Now with my sister in so much pain kinda like my dad was it makes you think about if there is a connection with the pain my father lived with for all those years. My father commented suicide from all the pain and the doctors wanted to remove his leg to help with his pain. PLEASE HELP MY SISTER WITH HER PAIN. Thank you for all that you do for everyone!
