My name is Brenda Brooks.  I am 61 years old, a widow of 3 years, a mother of 2 girls, and a grandmother of 2 boys.  I was married for 38 years to my high school sweetheart.  We lived an active life; traveling and were involved with many activities with our children.  Since I became a widow, I have gained a lot of weight and find it difficult to even leave the house.  I am depressed about the way I look and want to make a positive change with my health, my weight, and my lifestyle.
