Question to other mothers

After my son was born my sex life had changed very much. Not in any way from my son himself but from the feeling during it. I do not kno if I am alone feeling this or not.

Before my son was born I have sex in any position and it was wonderful. But now it is different. There are two different positions that seem to bother me. When I am on top or it is from behind I get pain in my stomach that makes it hard for me to enjoy it. I never felt this pain before I had my c-section. And I thought maybe that it would go away and I was sensitive from where I gave birth. But it is not 2 years down the road and it still bothers me.

Is there any other women that has gone through this after they gave birth to their child?

I have seen this problem in writing a few times although i have never had a c-section but most of the time it is from scar tissue.  Everyone's body heals differently but I would talk with your doctor if you haven't done so.  Discomfort during sex is the pits, especially because it is supposed to be a feel good thing.  I really hope that you find an answer from someone on this, I hope you find closure soon

I've had the same pain, with the same positions. I have never had a c-section, but had natural childbirth Nov.8th. I have also been hoping it would go away after a while. This is very important to me as sex is my "glass of wine" at the end of the day. It's more important o me than it is to my husband, who has quite the appetite. Have you talked to a Dr. about it? I have a 14, & a 15 yr old. I don't remember having this problem with them. I figured it was pain from pressure on the area around the cervix, but I've tried "taking it easy," it seems to be a random thing- as in some times it's a problem, but sometimes it's not, & some times I can gradually relax into it. Maby it's soreness in the bowel, after all, our intestines do go through alot during pregnancy.
