About Me
I am 42 years old, mother of 2, and have been married for 17 years. I have put on the weight over the past 6 years and each year the scale goes up and up! I am tired of feeling like I have no energy, I want to feel good about myself again and I want my husband and children to be proud of me. I have tried so so many diets and I am going to give this all I have to make this ONE work!
I love to spend time with the family - and my kids keep me extremely busy. I love every minute of it! Love the outdoors, spending time with friends, a good glass of red wine, and love playing monthly bunco with my "crazy bunco girls".
Live is good, would be better if I could shed some of this extra weight, But I feel really motivated and since i'm in my 40's I know a lifestyle change for me is a MUST!

Back to the "going" thing. :-) How about metamusel? You REALLY have to drink a big glass of water with it though.
2senough. I was really worried about the superbowl game and so I decided to bring the snacks that I could eat. would you believe that my baked cauliflower was the biggest hit of all the snacks? My husband doesn't even know that I am on this diet and he told me I could make my new snack anytime I wanted. LOL
I wanted to go back on cycle 1 because I loose so slowly. I am only at a loss of 8 pounds and i am in the middle of cycle 2. but they know more than me (that's for sure cuz Ive never lost weight this fast before even if 8 isn't very much). so i will follow what they say and hope that by the time I get to cycle 2 again that I will drop drastic weight!!!!
Down 1 more pound.. just 2 more pounds to get UNDER that 200 mark.. I love my Kefir smothies! YUM!
saw your post about the cake and frosted flakes. Can totally relate. I really have to watch that I don't let myself get too hungry or I will binge. Went through Mcdonald's yesterday for a salad without the chicken and for a minute my mouth wanted to say big mac and fries and super size it. I got through it though and once I had eaten my salad (I used to hate salads) I was glad. I have been on every diet I ever heard of including getting hypotised and This one has been easier than any I can remember. I think the big different is that while my husband was always encouraging he never was on it with me. It's nice to have a partner and so no bad stuff is coming in the house. I am from Wisconsin and so it is easy to not go out at night for snacks when it is sooooo cold out.
How funny! Next time I will try to imagine that for myself! I have such a sweet tooth it's awful! And of course my husband is totatlly not a sweet tooth at all. I'm actually getting used to my green tea - and liking it. The thing that is most intersting is that when I make my dinners my kids (10 and 14) are just drooling over my dinner - and want some. I had the Taco salad last night and made extra so both my kids had some and loved it. My husband on the other hand - sounds kinda like yours. MEAT..POTATOES, and always, always bread with dinner! UGH! He works construction and can work it off, not me.. it all goes to my gut... butt... and thighs - Keep me posted on you are your families adventure.. good luck and have a great weekend! :-)
I am with you on the cake LOL. When I was pregnant with my 7 mo old all I wanted was cupcakes. That craving hasn't went anywhere. I did go to the store last night and I looked at them. For the first time they didn't jump out at me. It was an awesome feeling. When I do get the craving I imagine cupcakes stuck to my thighs and tummy LOL That does it!! I reach for a tall drink of water instead. :)
Just ordered the book and cd.. can't wait!
